Skin Tag Removal Aftercare
It is normal for the skin to appear red following treatment. This should subside within 36 hours.
Please follow the aftercare advice carefully to support healing and reduce the risk of irritation or infection.
Apply the recommended soothing product to the treated area using clean fingertips or damp cotton wool. Reapply as needed, always on top of the previous application. If the area feels hot or uncomfortable, apply clean damp cotton wool pads soaked in the soothing product.
For the next few days:
Avoid direct heat, including hot baths, showers, saunas, sunbeds, strong sunlight and hot hairdryers.
Use a minimum SPF 25 on treated areas exposed to UV light.
Avoid deodorant if the underarm area has been treated.
Do not apply any other products unless advised.
Avoid unnecessary touching, rubbing or picking.
Cleanse gently around the area and pat dry.
Avoid anything that may aggravate the area, such as alcohol, spicy food, tight glasses or blowing your nose too hard, depending on the area treated.
A fine scab may form after treatment. This is normal. Do not pick, scratch or remove it, as this can affect healing.

The blemish may initially appear smaller, darker and harder. If the treatment is successful, it will usually come away naturally after a few days. The skin underneath may look pink and fresh, so continue to treat it gently for the next 48 hours.
Normal healing usually takes around 10–14 days, although this can vary from person to person.
